Stacey Kemp, the designer behind Chew Barker Collars, is Ireland’s leading expert on beads. Passionate about beads since childhood, she built a dazzling collection from her global travels, crafting designs cherished as keepsakes by friends. The principal founder of Dublin’s famous Yellow Brick Road bead shop, Stacey’s expertise attracted students nationwide to her popular jewellery-making classes. Her work has graced the covers of global publications like Beadwork magazine.
In 2015, responding to the growing demand for quality crafting supplies, Stacey launched her online store, Beads and Crystals. The store is popular for its collection of jewellery-making and crafting materials. What’s more, Stacey shared her decades of experience in one-to-one and group jewellery-making classes.
Her first public collection is none other than Chew Barker Collars! She graced the world of pet accessories by combining her bead trade with her passion for designing jewellery. Inspired by her own rescue dogs, Hugo the Jack Russell and Suki the Lurcher, Stacey began crafting dog collars that caught the eye of friends and fellow dog lovers alike.
